An effective program for staff and volunteers to establish goal setting, strategize, and plan ahead

 

Day with the Devil’s Advocate© is a high impact Program, with the SourceGroup Team, to build a results-oriented organization. The focus is on reinforcing your organization’s Mission and goals, setting priorities and developing measurable action plans. Board, staff, volunteers and community partners participate in a long one-day session to identify issues and concerns facing the organization—and to turn challenges into dynamic opportunities with practical solutions. Groups should be of at least ten people to a maximum of 100 (we have done it with 280).

Program objectives:

• define the challenge
• prioritize operating objectives
• develop a working plan to attain each of the objectives
• identify specific roles, timetables and measurable targets to get results

 

Program process:

• meeting with your decision-makers to define the challenges and the participants in the plan
• intensive one day session, off-site (board room, classroom, commercial space — no cell phones) to go through basic beliefs, priorities and deliverables
• a written summary report delivered within 72 hours that gives clear definition of what was said and what was agreed to
• a follow-up meeting with the leadership to discuss the summary report in detail

   

Fee:

Our fee is by contract, very reasonable and often funded by a donor.

Ongoing activity:

SourceGroup is also positioned to assist leadership with development and delivery of the Charity’s strategic plan at each step in its implementation, as funding allows.
